I do LOVE Easter !!!!!!

There's nothing like a luscious coffee

with (what I call), a drop of sunshine,

and a warm fruity hot cross bun!

The perfect morning tea.

My girls have been busy too!!!!

But don't look too closely cause the chook on the left gets titchy.

 Damn!!

She's always on guard, looking!!!!

 I think I'll call this one Henny Penny,

 because she always seems to be watching to see if the sky is falling.

Happy Easter !!!!

Time to drink that coffee!!!!!!

My Favourite Breakfast

I don't know what it's called,

but for as long as I can remember

my Dad has made (and shared) this delightful eggie mess!!!!!

He never minded us putting our forks in for a dip (I think).

I don't know where I get it from,

because I'm almost on guard with my food!!!!!

LOL!!!!

It starts with toast cut into cubes.

Then you soft boil some eggs....

Burn your fingers doing this!

And smash up your eggs!!

I usually like my eggs with a bit of runny yoke,

but I got the timer wrong today.

Season with whatever you like.

I love Tomato and Worcestershire sauce,

my Nonno always called them the 

King and Queen of the table!!!!

Then mix in your toasty croutons

 to soak up all the creamy eggie juices!!

I think every time I make this I smile as I do it!!

Instant memories.

Some of my fondest memories are around food,

I guess that's bound to happen when you have Italian heritage!!

Friday Night with Friends

Well hello everyone!!!

First of all I must apologize to everyone.............

for hogging the MnM's on Friday night!!!

I just couldn't keep my hand out of the bowl!!!

 and never even said a word about it.....ha ha ha ha ha!

For my stitching I decided to revisit a project I've done before.

I was in two minds about it, and Anthea's comment last time

 encouraged me to do more of the little mug rugs

and treat some friends with a tea party!

So I have started 4 more little mug rugs!

And have started to ponder about expanding the set.........

Maybe that can be exposed at another time, he he he :)
