Watch this space!!!
This was a project we got in our goodie bag at the Tinkers Cart Stitch along in 2011.
It was called "When Friends Gather", and a lovely day it was!!
The guests were Leanne Beasley, Rosalie Quinlan, and Melanie Hurlston From Melley & Me
Unfortunately, Tinkers Cart went through a bit of a hiccup.
It almost closed, but was saved by a lovely lady who now runs it as,
"Olive Branch Quilts" in Townsville.
As you can see, I have done the stitcheries, and have the fabric and patterns.
However, my usual habit is that I love to stitch more than I love to sew.
SO....I have a amassed a collection of projects that have been stitched
but have not had that extra step to finish it.
Don't ask me why????
A Little Birdie Told Me.........
Here is a nice little stitchery by Gail Pan
called Bramfield Manor.
I got this one in a goodie bag for a stitching day in Cairns.
It was done in different colors but I chose Peacock in Cottage Garden Threads.
It's a lovely variegated thread with blue and teal.
I love those colors, the picture doesn't do it justice.
Above the house is a space for the alphabet but I might stitch a message of some kind.
Not sure what yet.
However.....I do have to order more thread before I complete it.
Order has been done, just waiting on delivery.
Oh, and I did promise myself that I would finish a quilt that has taken me 3 years to complete.
Mmmmmmm.
Lucky you guys keep my secrets!!! He he he!
